To enhance rigidity of rubber components and to provide additional integration of functions Vernay has for many years been on the leading-edge in development and manufacturing of precision inserted elastomeric components. Vernay masters the technology to connect a wide variety of elastomeric polymer groups to metals (including but not limited to brass, aluminium, stainless steel) and technical plastics.
The technology to do this, effectively includes compounding technology, inserted part pre-treatment, bonding agent selections, and application of the appropriate molding process development. If the application requires, Vernay can use its technologies to grind components to meet more precise tolerances than first achieved during molding.
