Vernay has over 60 years of experience mixing high quality compounds for use in producing Vernay's high quality elastomeric components. Vernay will now utilize this experience and apply it to providing standard and custom formulated materials for use in the custom molding market. Utilizing a State-Of-The-Art 50 liter intermeshing rotor mixer, Vernay offers the following advantages:
- High consistency - the intermeshing rotor mixer offers improved dispersion over tangential style mixers found in many mixing operations. The result is improved consistency within the batch. Batch to batch variation is minimized by barcode error proofing for the weighing of small components and automated weigh-up of fillers that minimizes raw material weight variation.
- Short lead times - standard materials can be shipped in 2 weeks or less from the date the order is placed.
- Small minimum order quantities - Most minimum order quantities are 1 batch, which typically varies from 70 lb. to 160 lb. (depending on specific gravity)
